• Low voltage (LV) cable systems up to 1 kV – these installations carry power over short distances (not more than several hundred meters) and aims to connect dwellings, buildings, offices and farms.
• Medium voltage (MV) cables up to 36 kV – these installations connect the LV networks to the main distribution network.
